📖⚓ This year marks the 84th anniversary of the pivotal Battle of Midway, where American naval and air forces defeated a powerful Imperial Japanese fleet intent on invading Midway Atoll. The battle, which occurred June 3 - 7, 1942, turned the tide of war in the Pacific and prevented the Empire of Japan from threatening the Hawaiian Islands from the air base on Midway. 🇺🇸⚓

We honor the courage, sacrifice, and determination of the American service members who fought in the Battle of Midway from June 4–7, 1942.

Often regarded as the turning point of the Pacific Theater during World War II, the victory at Midway demonstrated the strength, resilience, and unwavering spirit of our Nation. Against overwhelming odds, brave Sailors, Marines, and Aviators changed the course of history and helped secure freedom for future generations.

As we reflect on their heroism, let us never forget the sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation and the enduring legacy they left behind.
