Wirt County has several community pantry locations available for families who could use support with food and household essentials. These pantries are free and local.

Our goal is simple:

✨ Strengthen our community through kindness and connection

The WV Schools for the Deaf and the Blind (WVSDB) and Marshall University are collaborating to offer American Sign Language (ASL) courses this June in Romney, WV!

Beginner, intermediate, and advanced courses are available and participants can earn three undergraduate or graduate credit hours!

The Marion County Parks and Recreation Commission has officially opened its public pools for the summer with brand-new, massive wave pool upgrades and announced its free annual youth playground program.

It's that time of year again! The end of school and the start of summer weather mean it's time for our Resource Fair & Community Pool Party!

On Friday, June 5th from 10am-3pm, join the Marion County Family Resource & Support Network and our community partners to learn about helpful resources for you and your family, grab some cold drinks and snacks, and receive a FREE ticket to Wave Tech for each person in your group once you have visited each resource table!
