We would love if you would join us for the first annual A Guiding Light Fundraiser to End Family Violence. the event will be held October 3, 2026 at the Fallon Eagles Hall doors will open at 5:30 PM. There will be a seated dinner (dinner options are: Tri-Tip, Chicken, or a Four Cheese Spinach Lasagna). The evenings entertainment will be Live music preformed by Leeteville Junction. Full Bar hosted by the Fallon Eagles. Raffles and Silent Auction Item funds will help us provide services to local survivors. Individual ticket price is $45, Table of 6 ticket price is $240. April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Through the month Domestic Violence Intervention Inc (DVI) Advocates have been hard at work sharing educational outreach to the community. To kick off the month DVI Advocates hung the SAAM Flag and denim jeans at Millennium Park with messages from Victim Survivors painted on them.
This year DVI hosted their First Fallon Teen Denim Day Event on April 17th 2026. Local teens gathered at the DVI office to decorate squares of Denim with images about consent and messages to victim survivors. These denim squares will be assembled into a quilt to be auctioned off at our October fundraising event. During the event teens interacted with conversations about what is, and what is not consent as well as the history of Denim Day and how it has grown into the longest running Sexual Assault Campaign originating in 1999.
Additionally, Advocates were invited to host an information booth at the Event where they were able to spread information to the community as well as many contestants and patrons who traveled to Fallon for the event. Building relationships with community partners like Battle Born Bronc’s is essential to growing our reach. DVI would also like to extend a big Thank You to all the patrons who participated in the 50/50 raffle.

Calling ALL Teens! Come be a part of Fallon's First Teen Denim Day Project. April 17, 2026 1:30pm-5:00pm. All supplies will be provided. While teens are crafting Advocates will be discussing CONSENT what it IS and what it's NOT as well as the history behind Denim Day.
