We want to take a moment to thank all of our incoming Kindergarten families who joined us a few weeks ago for our Kindergarten Registration Night at Lahontan Elementary School! It was a great evening meeting future Wolf Pups, giving tours, answering questions, and helping families take the first step into Kindergarten! ☺️

Important reminders for families who were unable to attend:

If your child will be attending Kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year, you MUST complete Kindergarten registration.

Per AB 65, your child must be 5 years old on or before 08/01/2026 to enroll.

A quick note for families at Northside Early Learning Center: students enrolled in Pre-K there through the end of the school year will automatically be enrolled in Kindergarten and do not need to complete registration.

If you still need to register, it is not too late. Our registration process is fully online:

Click the “Register for Kindergarten” icon on the homepage OR go to Families & Students under General Information and select “Kindergarten Registration for 26-27 School Year.”
Select “26-27” as the registration year in Infinite Campus.

⚠️ PLEASE READ ⚠️

Due to a staffing shortage today, the TEAL Route #39 will not be running as scheduled this afternoon. All affected students will be provided alternate transportation on either the BLACK or BROWN routes. All schools have been notified and provided a list of which students will need to ride which buses. Please expect delays to all stops as a result.

Transportation applications NOW AVAILABLE for the 26-27 school year!! 🎉🚍

It's that time of year again - time to start preparing our bus routes for the upcoming school year. We ask that all families intending to use school bus transportation during the 2026-27 school year please complete the annual Transportation Application, which allows us to make adjustments to provide transportation where it is needed and make our routes as efficient as possible.

The District will follow current Regulation 5144.1 for all transportation decisions, which includes busing for all *county* K-12 students. Students in grades K-8 living within Fallon city limits and more than ½ mile from their school may use bus stops at pre-selected, centralized locations.
