Visit Fallon Hello! Visit Fallon connects you to the things to do and places to go in the Oasis of Nevada. Welcome to Fallon, the "Oasis of Nevada."

Fallon is on Highway 50, 60 miles east of Reno. It is surrounded by farms and ranches, and the Lahontan Valley Wetlands - a birder's paradise. Fallon offers the outdoors, the arts, shops, and a menu of special events year round including a summer farmer's market and the Hearts of Gold Cantaloupe Festival. The Navy's TOP GUN School is located here. And Fallon is a destination for meetings and small conventions. Come to play or come to stay.

One minute it’s desert… the next it’s farmland. That’s just the beauty of Fallon.

Well now… time may roll on, but Fallon still feels like the same town it’s always been.✨

Saddle up, Fallon, you’re invited to something truly special! 🤠🍰

Join us for Fallon’s first-ever Cake Picnic as we celebrate America’s 250th on June 20th at 5:00 PM at Oats Park. Bring your favorite homemade cake, enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors, and sample a wonderful variety of desserts under the open sky.

If you bring a cake, your entry is free (up to 4 people). Or come as a taster for just $10 and enjoy everything the picnic has to offer.

We’ll also welcome the America 250 Pony Express Re-Ride, and when the sun goes down, stick around for a free live performance by Micky and the Motorcars, bringing a warm alt-country sound to close out the evening.
