d e-discovery laws and policies. All comments and content shared on the county’s government-sponsored social media sites must pertain to the topic presented. The following are examples that the county considers to be unacceptable social media content and comments. Please note this list is not intended to be all-inclusive:

· Any content or comments that are off-topic;

· Spam or videos or links to other sites;

· Solicitations, advertisements, or endorsement of any financial, commercial, political candidate, political party, or non-governmental agency;

· Duplicate posts by the same author (the original post will be left intact assuming it meets the guidelines of acceptable comments or content).

· Repetitive posts copied and pasted by multiple users;

· Obscene materials;

· Advocation of illegal activity;

· Infringement on copyrights or trademarks.

· Confidential or non-public information, including, but not limited to email addresses, telephone numbers, mailing addresses, or any personally identifiable medical information or any confidential or non-public information that violates the legal rights of an individual. Social Media Statements, comments, views and/or opinions expressed on county social media sites are strictly those of their authors and do not, necessarily, represent the opinions or policies of Cumberland County Government, its agents, officers, or employees. The Cumberland Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting a Floodwise Landowner Workshop from 10AM - 2PM on August 4th! We will discuss Flood Risks, Nature-based Mitigation, Flood prone areas, Conservation practices and personal experiences! The event will be held at the Cumberland Agriculture Center in the Cooperative Extension Auditorium! On Monday, the Board of Commissioners recognized the Cumberland County Schools Gray’s Creek High School "Creek Crazies" Envirothon team for their outstanding achievements at both the Area VII and State competitions.

The team earned third place in the Area VII Envirothon and third place in the FFA Division at the State Envirothon, demonstrating excellence in environmental science, teamwork and problem-solving.

The healthier the soil, the more microorganisms it can support, along with greater diversity that helps cycle nutrients and support plant growth. In poor soils, both the number and variety of microorganisms drop, which weakens the soil system and reduces its ability to support healthy plants. 🪱🤎
