If you're flying out of Fayetteville Regional Airport, you may notice something new in the area.

Yeadon Domes has officially set roots in Fayetteville and Cumberland County. In 2025, the worldwide dome manufacturer selected our community for their headquarters and manufacturing facility, where it will produce air domes for sports facilities, warehouses, and industrial applications.

We are excited to welcome them and look forward to the future of this project!

You've seen the headlines, and we're here to deliver the news!

FCEDC is pleased to announce that Skyeton, previously known as Project Odesa, has selected Fayetteville and Cumberland County as the location for its U.S. headquarters and first manufacturing facility in North America. The project will create 162 jobs with an average annual salary of $70,759 and invest $3.4 million in real estate and equipment.

Earlier this month, FCEDC hosted the Mid-Carolina Workforce Development Board for their quarterly meeting. During the meeting, attendees heard from FCEDC President & CEO Robert Van Geons, who shared the vision for 611 W Russell Street and the opportunities it will create for Fayetteville and Cumberland County.

This was just a small glimpse at how our new home will serve as a hub for workforce initiatives that help strengthen Fayetteville and Cumberland County's talent pipeline and economic future.
