Even more exciting, the work she develops through the program will directly benefit our students by expanding their perspectives and providing opportunities to engage with global ideas and experts.

TCEA is proud to announce that after years of steady growth, we have officially moved from a D to a C school.

This progress reflects the dedication of our staff, students, and families, and we're grateful for the work everyone has put in to get us here. We've continued to build strong teaching teams in the 2026-2027 school year, and we're feeling energized about the growth still ahead of us.

A letter grade only tells part of the story. North Carolina's school grades weight proficiency far more heavily than growth, so a jump like this represents real, sustained gains in the classroom, gains that often show up before the grade itself catches up. We're proud of how far we've come and even more excited about where we're headed.

💜 A HUGE thank you to First Baptist Church! 💜

We are incredibly grateful to First Baptist Church at 201 Anderson Street for showing so much love to our TCEA staff today! They provided and served a fantastic lunch for our entire staff and also generously donated school supplies to help us kick off the new school year. 🌱📚

Every meal, every donation, and every act of kindness was so appreciated. Support like this reminds us just how fortunate we are to have community partners who believe in our school, our staff, and the students we serve.
