Thank you to everyone who joined us for Parent Tech Night! đź’»

We were glad to help families troubleshoot, get questions answered and feel a little more confident navigating the tools students use each day.

Kudos to the team members who spent the evening helping families one-on-one, and to our building tech staff across HSE who keep things running every day for students and teachers.

There’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to make learning with technology work well. We’re grateful for the people who make it possible and for the chance to help our community along the way! 👏👏👏

Wondering what the HSE replacement operating referendum could actually cost you?

The number you’ll see on the November ballot doesn’t tell the whole story.

In this short video, Superintendent Dr. Matt Kegley explains why the ballot is required to show a higher tax estimate, how HSE’s replacement referendum works, and what the district currently expects the impact to be in 2027.

Watch the video for a simple breakdown, then visit hseschools.org/referendum.

We are incredibly grateful for the Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation and the generous sponsors who continue to invest in HSE students, staff and schools. ❤️

At today’s 3rd Annual Superintendent’s Breakfast, we had the opportunity to recognize that partnership and the impact it has across our district.

During the 2025-26 school year, HSEF helped fund 45 grant projects across 18 schools, Preschool and FOCUS, investing nearly $110,000 in opportunities for students and staff.

HSE is stronger because of the community that stands behind them.

The Fishers High School Tiger Band got a big surprise this weekend: They’re headed to Pasadena for the 2028 Rose Parade! 🌹🎶

More than 200 students learned the news Saturday after a full day of rehearsals. It will be the first Rose Parade appearance in school history, and Fishers is one of only 10 high school bands chosen from an international applicant pool.

After taking on New York City for the 2023 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Marching Tiger Band is ready for its next national stage.

We could not be prouder to see these students represent Fishers High School, HSE Schools and our community before millions of viewers around the world.

We kicked off another year of HSEngaged this week at Fishers Elementary with our Facilities Department. It was the first of many stops on our newest cohort’s learning journey!

We’re especially excited to have several HSE Schools' alumni in this year’s program who are now raising their own families in the same district they attended. We love seeing that connection come full circle and appreciate everyone who has committed their time to learning more about our schools.

Today, Fishers High School’s EMT students got a firsthand look at what it means to serve a community in times of need.

Volunteers from Hamilton County Emergency Management joined the students to share their experiences responding to disasters and supporting the community during crises. With central Indiana recently experiencing significant flooding, the conversation offered a timely look at the important role emergency volunteers play when communities need help most.

The students also spent time preparing for their exams and completed their first certification training: CERT (Community Emergency Response Team). This is the first of several certifications they will earn throughout the year as they build the knowledge and skills needed for a career in emergency medical services.

And this is just the beginning. Once students turn 18 and graduate, they can become certified EMTs. ❤️🚑

Today was install day for our “We ❤️ HSE Schools” banner!

Signed by students and families at Before the Bell, the banner is hitting the road and will spend about a week at businesses and community organizations showing their support for HSE students, teachers and schools.

First stop: SMC Corporation of America! SMC’s commitment already extends into our high schools through its partnership with the Precision Machining class.

Thank you to SMC leadership and staff for kicking off the banner’s community tour. Where will it land next? Stay tuned!
