Good evening SAC parents,
Tomorrow, 5 December 2025, Newport News Public Schools has announced that due to the impending inclement weather they will be doing a full day of asynchronous learning.

The School Age Care will operate on our normal full day schedule, 0530-1800 for families that need care. Please keep in mind that additional fees will be applied for additional hours of care.

Also, the School Age Care will provide a workspace and internet access, if the internet supports, for children to do their asynchronous learning, but will not be able to provide one on one care for assignment completion or canvas troubleshooting.

Parents need to ensure their children are able to log into their canvas classroom and be able to navigate the website to complete their assignments.
