Garden report from garden manager Lisa: Great work today garden friends! In just few hours we fixed the garden fence, cut the asparagus, prepped two beds, planted peas, radishes, onions and lettuce and cleaned out the garden shed. Amazing! Thank you so much for all of your hard work.

Today was our first garden day for 2026. We had a great turnout and were able to repair the deer fencing, plant peas, radish and a few other cool weather crops and cleaned out the garden shed. Thank you volunteers!

On a dreary Sunday like this it’s important to find the little signs of spring to cling to hope for warmer, blue sky days. (Also first day of work in the food bank garden is tomorrow from 9-noon. If you want to come meet the crew of volunteers and join us for some garden fun, come on down! Be ready to get dirty and be sure to wear appropriate footwear because it’s very wet)

Less than 12 hours until the end of 2026! There is another opportunity to give strategically: Starting at 12:00 p.m. on 4/1/2026, donations will be matched by Eastern Bank by $10 each. There is no maximum donation, minimum gift is $5. The maximum match is $10 per donor, per organization.
