We invite you to participate in a short survey about forests in Rockbridge County. This survey is part of the Forests for People and Birds project, a partnership between scientists, conservation professionals, and community members in the Rockbridge County area. It is funded by the National Science Foundation and Allen Family Philanthropies. The five-year project aims to balance different forest needs identified by local land managers, landowners, and other community members. The resulting management plan will be fully voluntary with guidance that landowners can choose to adopt in support of the larger goals. Please provide your response by May 18th, 2026.
