Saddened to hear the news about Dolores Huerta. There are no words to fully capture Dolores’ life and legacy. She was an incredible leader, a fighter for our Latino community and workers everywhere, and an icon whose courage inspired so many to follow in her footsteps. She certainly inspired me and took time out of her busy schedule to help me.

I am grateful to have known her, and I will miss her dearly.

To her family, my deepest condolences go out to you today. I’ll be keeping you and everyone who knew and loved Dolores in my prayers.

President Trump is raking in millions - and bragging about it - while you're paying $4, $5, even $6 a gallon in some places just to get to work.

He shouldn't even be allowed to trade stocks. This level of corruption is truly outrageous.

FIRST ON CBS: As President Trump boasts about how much money the U.S. oil and gas industry is making from the war with Iran, the president's personal holdings in oil and gas are now worth between $22.5 million and $81.6 million, compared with $12.6 million to $46 million at the end of 2025, according to a new report by Democrats on the Congressional Joint Economic Committee.

I was pleased to be in Ely last week to see the completed downtown revitalization project. Before this year, Ely's downtown hadn't had a major investment in over 30 years. That's why I secured federal resources to repave the roads, build new streetlights, improve safety, and create economic opportunity for workers and businesses here.

What a privilege to join the team at Great Basin National Park and our Eastern Nevada community for the grand re-opening of the Lehman Caves.

The new lighting system is just incredible, and I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the park’s 40th anniversary. This park has a special place in my heart, just like so many Nevadans. I will always be proud to support Great Basin, our Parks Service workers, and the entire community here.

Don’t take it from me. This is what a small business owner in Las Vegas had to say about the state of the economy right now:

“Everything costs too much. Gas, goods, everything has gone up a lot. And that’s why I think people aren’t going out, they’re not going out to buy, to eat. And so, we’re the ones paying the price.”

We deserve a President and leaders in Congress who will take this seriously.
