We had a wonderful time sharing information about our many programs with everyone who attended Gilroy Appreciation Day at Gilroy Gardens! 🌞

It was a beautiful day filled with amazing Gilroy residents who had the opportunity to learn more about the many nonprofits serving their community—all while enjoying a fun day at the park.

We are grateful to be part of such a caring and connected community. 💚

South County Community Services is proud to co-sponsor the Solidarity Summit on April 11, 2026.

This powerful, full-day community event creates a platform for our voices to be heard. Community members, advocates, artists, and leaders will come together to build power with people directly impacted by poverty in Silicon Valley.

This year’s theme focuses on (Re)Imagining the Social Safety Net at a time when many public systems are under threat. Together, we will explore ways to create a more just, dignified, and human-centered approach to community well-being.

Join us, share your voice, and be part of shaping a stronger future for our community.

We would like to give a big thank you to Laleh from the Gilroy Baha'i Community for bringing dozens of delicious tamales for our unhoused neighbors.

Laleh kindly brought tamales for our clients, knowing how much they love them. It was such a thoughtful gesture and a beautiful example of how much our community looks out for one another.

Kind acts like this make a big difference in our community. Because of caring people like Laleh, our unhoused clients can enjoy a warm meal and feel the kindness that everyone deserves.

We are very thankful for Laleh and for the support of the Baha'i Community of Gilroy. Thank you for helping care for our neighbors.

We’re very thankful to Ellie from Serrano High School for donating hundreds of plushies to children in need. They can help children feel safe on hard days, bring smiles when they are feeling sad, and show them that someone in their community cares about them. Ellie’s kindness is making a huge difference! Thank you, Ellie! 🙂
