Our 8th graders are spreading their wings and stepping boldly into their next chapter. As the Class of 2030 prepares to leave Gerald R. Ford Academic Center, we celebrate every laugh, every lesson, and every moment that shaped them into the incredible young people they’ve become.

Principal K shared powerful words for our Bengals to carry with them, reminders of who they are and what they’re capable of. And of course, we can’t forget Mrs. Kirksey and Mrs. Griffith, longtime favorites of so many of our 8th graders — their guidance, love, and steady presence have meant the world.

As our Bengals head to high school and beyond, we’re cheering them on every step of the way. Once a Bengal, always a Bengal. 🖤🧡

At Ford, Bengal is more than just our mascot—it represents who we are. It’s our pride, our determination, and our family. We hope you can hear it in our roar today as we celebrate the amazing accomplishments of our scholars.

A special shout-out to Ms. Hampton and Ms. Lynnae, who lead the way and keep the Bengal spirit alive every day. Their dedication, encouragement, and love for our scholars help make Ford the special place it is.

Yesterday our scholars participated in field day! They had so much fun riding bikes, playing with the parachute, playing soccer, face painting, playing basketball, sack races, games, and some much more. Thanks to Mr. A and Mr. Woodbeck for making our field day such a success. 🧡🖤
