PCAN Task Force We are a task-force created in response to high rates of child abuse and neglect in our community.

Together, we can prevent the neglect and abuse of children in Cascade County through education, support, and advocacy. Our Mission: Build community capacity to collaboratively prevent and address childhood trauma. Our Vision: A Supportive Community Culture that sustains the safety, security, and stability of families. Primary Goal: Reduce the number of substantiated child abuse and neglect cases in Cascade County over the next 10-15 years.

💚 Parenting a child with a tough past can be challenging—but you don’t have to do it alone.

Join our **Parenting the Love and Logic Way: Trauma-Informed Care** class and learn practical, compassionate strategies to better understand and support children who have experienced trauma or difficult life situations.

This 6-week class focuses on:
✔️ Building trust and emotional safety
✔️ Responding to behaviors with empathy
✔️ Reducing power struggles
✔️ Strengthening connection and resilience
