Weston Weekly Wrap Up - End of the Year Edition

We had a great year with the students, and we are so thankful for the great memories that were made at Weston! We would like to wish all of our families and students a happy summer break! Wishing the best for our outgoing 4th graders that will join the Maxwell family next school year. This week was packed with celebrations and awards for all the hard work done by our students this year. There are no more words needed…enjoy these lasting memories made this week, and enjoy your summer break!

Weston Weekly Wrap Up - Week 36

We are down to three days left with our wonderful Weston students. This week, we culminated all of our fun into FIELD DAY!!! Thank you to Mr. Gerike for all the hard work planing our event. Students had such a blast this week, and we even got visits from some of our favorite furry friends throughout the week as well. Check out the fun we had!

Reminders:
- Check your students for any library books. Even if the books may be damaged, bring them back to school. Students that don't have any overdue library books will be entered into a drawing for a special prize on Thursday.
- From our school nurse...all medications must be picked up by May 28th. Please check with our office if you have any questions.

Have a great holiday weekend, and we will see our students one last time this week on Tuesday!

Weston Weekly Wrap Up - Week 35

We had a jam-packed week of fun and activities around Weston! From Unified Champions to folk dancing, engineering projects, student council celebrations, 4th graders meeting their new administration team at Maxwell, ABC countdown themed days (we thoroughly enjoyed Quick day and Quest day for the letter "Q"), and creating our own board games to play with kindergarteners, there was something happening inside and outside of our school all week long!

A special thanks to Mr. Curtis, Mr. Crouch, and Ms. Sallee for coming to hang out with our 4th graders and warming them up for their transition to Maxwell next year (the kids enjoyed the popsicles as well)!

A special shoutout goes out to Ms. Brechbuhl, and Mrs. Flynn for working together with our Weston Unified Champions team to create a successful event! We are proud of you all!

There are only 8 more days left in the school year, but we still have more activities planned for our students...including Field Day!!! Stay tuned for our next exciting adventure!

Reminders: Please send any library books back to school as soon as possible. If you are unsure whether your child still has a book checked out, feel free to contact our media specialist, Mrs. Sargent, at [email protected].

Let's have another great week of learning at Weston!

Weston Weekly Wrap-up: Week 34

This week was all about our teachers at Weston! We are so grateful for our teachers, and we threw it back to the 90’s all week long.

Students took time out to show their appreciation for the wonderful work of our school nurse…Mrs. Potter! Mrs. Potter consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty for our students and staff here at Weston. We are so thankful to have her with us.

Weston also recognized our students that sold chocolate boxes for our chocolate bar fundraiser earlier in the year. These students received incentives…including snow cones, a glow party, and silly stringing and sliming Mr. Miller! Check out all the other fun we had at Weston last week.

We have 13 days left this school year. Stay tuned for more ABC Countdown themed days coming up.

Let’s have a great week at Weston! Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mothers in the Weston community!

Weston Weekly Recap - Week 33

We continued to show appreciation for many of our staff this week. Thank you to our cafeteria staff for all of their hard work, and making sure that our kids always get fed. Last, but certainly not least, thank you to our principal...Mr. Miller for working tirelessly to create a positive atmosphere for Weston. This coming week, we are ready to show our appreciation to our teachers for all of their hard work throughout the school year. If you have a teacher that you would like to shout out, send one in the comments to recognize their contributions to the Weston community!

This week also featured our VIP breakfast days. Each day, Weston hosted the VIPs in our Weston community. From parents to grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, and family friends, there were plenty that came in and spend time with our students this week.
