Weston Weekly Recap - Week 4

Weston Weekly Recap - Week 3

The theme was collaboration this week at Weston. Plenty of students did work together with one another, and it was amazing to see! We also enjoyed our first bookmobile visit of the school year. That and many fun experiences added to our learning this past week.

Congratulations to Mrs. Bridenthal’s class for winning the Weston Attendance Championship belt with a perfect attendance rate this past week! They are the first class to successfully defend their championship this year!

Weston Weekly Recap - Week 2

Though the weather was a bit crazy this week, we still found creative ways to educate our students at Weston. Check out the amazing things that happened in our Weston community this week.

Congratulations goes to Ms. Deno’s class, Mrs. Bridenthal’s class, and Ms. Leisure’s class for being our week 2 Weston Attendance Champions! Each class had 100% attendance rate this week!

Weston had the privilege of hosting visitors from our sister city of Kakuda, Japan! From writing their names in Japanese to reading a children’s book in English AND Japanese, our Weston family had a wonderful time with the students that came. Such a one-of-a-kind experience that our students will never forget! Thank you to the members of Hancock County Community Foundation for their support and dedication to our Sister Cities initiative.

Weston Weekly Recap - Week 1

What a great start we had to the first week of school for our Weston community! Staff and students were eager to get back into the swing of things. Congratulations goes to our first week Attendance Champions...Mrs. Rogers' class, Mrs. Martin's class, Mrs. Wallis' class, Ms. Harris' class, and Mrs. Gibson's class!

On behalf of the Hancock County Fire Department, we would like to share these safety notices to our families. These materials are intended to support safe routines at home, at school, and while traveling to and from school. Materials given include practical reminders about smoke alarms, home escape planning, kitchen safety, safe charging practices, severe weather preparedness, and back-to-school safety.
