Railroad Company Notification

RAILROAD CROSSING MAINTENANCE NOTICE

CSX Transportation will be performing maintenance and repair work at the railroad crossing on Silver St. in Meriwether County, GA.
The crossing will be closed to traffic from [August 31st at 6 pm] through [September 5th at 8 am] to allow crews to safely complete the work.
Motorists should use an alternate crossing during the closure. The reopening date may be adjusted due to weather, unforeseen conditions, or the progress of construction.

🚧 ROAD CLOSURE NOTICE – FLAT SHOALS ROAD BRIDGE 🚧

The Flat Shoals Road Bridge over the Flint River is CLOSED until further notice.

Please use the following detours:

➡️ Traveling from Pike County toward Gay on Flat Shoals Road:
Turn RIGHT onto Pedenville Road and follow the posted detour.

⬅️ Traveling from Gay toward Pike County on Flat Shoals Road:
Turn LEFT onto Germany Road and follow the posted detour.

🚧 Please obey all road closure signs and detour signage. These measures are in place to ensure the safety of the traveling public.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this closure.
