SHARE Honored at the Annual Statewide Spring Training Conference

SHARE Head Start/Early Head Start was proudly acknowledged during the Annual Statewide Spring Training Conference held in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, from Wednesday, March 30th through April 2nd. This recognition reflects SHARE’s continued commitment to excellence in serving children, families, and communities across South Carolina. We are especially proud to celebrate the outstanding individuals and partners whose dedication, perseverance, and service were recognized during this statewide event. Their achievements highlight the strength of SHARE’s family-centered approach, staff excellence, and community collaboration.

North Franklin Head Start Father Engagement Activity

North Franklin Head Start Center, Tammy Martin, Center Manager, hosted a Father/Child Paint & Chat Workshop on March 27th, creating a meaningful opportunity for fathers and father figures to engage directly with their children in a fun, interactive, and relationship-building activity. A total of 38 fathers participated, demonstrating strong male engagement and continued interest in program-led activities that support positive parenting and family bonding.

The workshop provided a relaxed environment where fathers and children worked side-by-side to create paintings while engaging in open dialogue. This “Paint & Chat” format encouraged communication, strengthened emotional connections, and promoted quality one-on-one time between fathers and their children. In addition to the hands-on activity, staff facilitated conversations around the importance of father involvement in early childhood development, school readiness, and social-emotional growth. Thank you, North Franklin staff, for your commitment and creativity.

The patient parking lot opens no later than 11:59 p.m. (midnight local time) on Friday, February 13 and will stay open all night.

When you arrive, RAM staff and volunteers will share the next steps. Clinic doors usually open at 6 a.m.

North Greenville (Travelers Rest)

This weeklong event brought all SHARE staff together for intensive training and collaboration to prepare for the new school year.
