Safe Harbor is a private 501(c)3 non-profit organization that offers a continuum of services for survivors of domestic violence and their children in Greenville, Anderson, Pickens and Oconee Counties. Our services include a 24/7 help line, safe emergency shelters, counseling for survivors and their children, advocacy, legal assistance, transitional housing, domestic violence education and parentin

g classes, and group support. We have approximately 45 full-time staff, 20 part-time staff and over 300 volunteers, including our board of directors. Together, we make a difference for victims of domestic violence and their children by providing them with safety and resources, helping them to heal, and giving them the support they need to start new lives.

Safe Harbor was honored to partner with Westside Community Center and The Zone for our “Together We Grow” family gardening workshop! 🪴
Families came together for a day filled with connection, learning, and hands-on fun as they created their own bucket gardens and planted seasonal vegetables to take home. 🥦
More than gardening, this event focused on nurturing healthy family relationships and strengthening family bonds. Participants left with seeds for future planting, practical gardening skills, meaningful conversations, and full hearts.
Thank you to every family who joined us and helped make this event so special. We are grateful for the opportunity to grow together as a community! 💚

Safe Harbor joins the community in extending condolences to the family of Sgt. Ashley Munoz and the Greenville Police Department. We honor her legacy. In a profession defined by courage, Sergeant Ashley Munoz carried something even rarer - compassion. She worked tirelessly to strengthen systems, amplify survivor voices, and bring hope to those facing unimaginable circumstances. She was an extraordinary leader who challenged complacency, built partnerships, educated others, and worked to ensure victims were seen and heard. Because of their dedication, countless individuals found protection, resources, and the courage to reclaim their lives. Her impact reached far beyond the badge and will continue to be felt in the countless lives she changed.
