What a great night in Aiken!

Thank you to my friends Andrew Siders and Aiken County Sheriff Marty Sawyer for hosting such a wonderful evening, and thank you to Spa 106 for the incredible venue.

It was great seeing so many friends and supporters, including endorsers Jody Rowland, Sheriff of Edgefield County, and Representative Bill Hixon.

With only 10 days until June 9, I’m enjoying every opportunity to meet voters, hear your concerns, and feel the momentum growing.

What a great morning at Butterbeans in Easley this week with my good friend Pickens County Sheriff Tommy Blankenship and the retired Pickens deputies group who gathers once a week! Great breakfast and company, I’d encourage you to get out to Butterbeans soon for a meal!

Honored to have the support and endorsement of one of the strongest trial prosecutors in the state of South Carolina, 11th Circuit Solicitor Rick Hubbard of Lexington. Rick is also the current President of the S.C. Solicitors Association, a position that I held from 2017-2020.

Solicitor David Stumbo is running for Attorney General, and I am proud to say I was one of those who strongly encouraged him to do so. I have known and worked with David for most of his legal career. I can attest to his skills as a prosecutor and leader, and to his deeply held convictions as a lifelong conservative and Christian. I can also say without reservation that David Stumbo is a good man.

As a Solicitor, David is one of the most experienced prosecutors in South Carolina. He has prosecuted numerous violent crimes throughout his career, including murder and sexual assaults on children. David has always worked hard to protect our communities, and he has been a steadfast voice for victims of crime. He enjoys the strong backing of those in law enforcement, including numerous sheriffs across the state.

During his time with the South Carolina Attorney General’s Office, David not only prosecuted corruption cases, he was also one of the leaders of the State Grand Jury that is responsible for handling corruption cases throughout the state. He will not tolerate public corruption, and he will continue to be an outspoken advocate for judicial reform.

David Stumbo did not adopt new convictions and beliefs on the eve of the 2026 South Carolina Attorney General’s race. He is a lifelong conservative Republican. The David Stumbo running for Attorney General is the same man I got to know many years ago. He is a devoted husband and father, and a devout Christian who lives his faith. He believes in the sanctity of life and has never wavered in fighting for the rights of the unborn.

David understands the post he is seeking comes with great responsibility and accountability. That’s why I am so grateful that he is a man of prayer and humility. He recognizes the job of Attorney General is not about advancing his career, it’s about faithfully serving the people of South Carolina.

David checks every box on what we want in a leader, and what we desperately need in an Attorney General. I am proud and honored to call him my colleague and friend.
