Lap swim and swim team begins this week in our outdoor pool.
Open swim in the outdoor pool starts June 8th.
Swim camp and Splashball start June 15th.

The pools will be closed this week. We will still be manning the front desk and phones from 9- 5 pm Tues.- Friday. Stop by or give us a call for questions, to sign up for summer recreation, or swim lessons.

National Water Safety Month is celebrated every May to raise awareness about water safety and drowning prevention for children and adults.

💦 When you think about water safety and drowning prevention, swimsuits aren’t typically the first thing that comes to mind. Alive Solutions Inc released their swimsuit color testing in 2022. The test revealed how dangerous some bathing suit colors can be. Certain colors like black, white and gray may appear to be shadows while blue can practically look invisible underwater. Neon swim suit colors are just another added layer of protection. Supervision of our loved ones in and near the water is also another layer of protection. 💦

🛟May is National water safety month 🛟
We’re sharing this important layer-by-layer approach to promote water safety awareness

Here are 5 layers of protection to remember to safeguard those around you:

~ Active supervision: have close, constant and capable watch of the water at all times

~ Water competency: ensure everyone has basic swimming skills.

~ Life jackets: a must have for everyone in or around bodies of water

~ Emergency preparation: know CPR with rescue breaths and have a rescue plan in place

~ Barriers and alarms: secure pools and water areas with self latching, self closing fences and gates

It’s all about combining measures to ensure maximum safety for everyone
