Ravalli County Museum The Ravalli County Museum is the largest archival museum in the Bitter Root Valley.

It serves the public through well crafted exhibitions, educational activities, cultural events, festivals, and as the "go to" resource for historical research. The Ravalli County Museum is the caretaker for historical information, artifacts and collections for all of Ravalli County. We provide a cultural venue to enrich the experiences of our community through programming and educational opportunities for people of all ages.

Happy Saturday, Bitter Root Valley! If you guessed that the item of the week was a hand-operated sock knitting machine during World War II, you were correct! These machines were given out to households for free so that socks could be made to send to the troops fighting in the war. See you next Wednesday for a new item of the week!!
