Mayor Thomas M. McDermott, Jr. and the City of Hammond invite you to attend Hammond’s 9/11 25th Anniversary Commemoration Ceremony on Friday, September 11th at 10 AM at the Hammond Sportsplex (6630 Indianapolis Blvd, Hammond, IN).

All residents and neighbors are welcome as our community comes together to remember the lives lost on September 11th, 2001, and honor the courage and sacrifice of our first responders.

A huge THANK YOU to our friends at The Home Depot for once again stepping up for our community!

They generously donated cleaning supplies, flashlights, first-aid kits, laundry detergent, and many other useful items to the Hammond Police Department. These donations will be added to our Community Care Closet and given directly back to members of our community who need a helping hand.

The Home Depot has consistently been one of the first organizations to step forward when we have community projects or a need to fill. We truly appreciate their continued generosity, partnership, and commitment to Hammond.
