is a nonprofit organization that acts as an umbrella to many different networking programs, which include our Community Meal, Food Panty, Adopt A School Program, Homeless Prevention, Emergency Shelter as well as Affordable Housing. Calaway – Founder/Chairman of the Board
J. founded InnerMission in 1996 as a community organization to help meet the needs of a city. He has pastored The Gate for over

22 years and has his Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership. Scott Wells – Executive Director
Scott serves as the executive director of InnerMission. Scott has 20 plus years of non- profit experience. He is committed to helping people in need become self-sufficient. Nick Smith - Board Member
Nick has held various roles centered around real estate development, renovation, management and sales for the past 15 years. All of which give him the ability to play a key role in developing and providing affordable housing for those that living in unstable housing situations. Wade Kapteyn - Board Member
Wade has been the Director of Plumbing and Electric with Four Seasons for the past 2 years. and General Manager for the past 7. With his ability to build relationships, teach and mentor he is a great asset in helping bring people from surviving to thriving! Judi Hyvarinen - Board Member
Judi has been the Business Administrator for InnerMission/ The Gate for the past 24 years. With her talent and ability in finance and education she brings stability to our organization and the people we serve.

Last night was such a special time gathering some of our Thrive alumni with current students to continue on the path of Thriving!

Our goal is to have our Thrive grads become teachers themselves— helping others move from surviving to thriving!

Our CEO J Calaway shared a teaching from his new book getting ready to be launched.

We had a fabulous time learning, building relationships and encouraging one another. 🌱
