Our 3rd graders did an amazing job last week sharing their "Museum of Me" projects with our Panther family. The projects demonstrated students' journey to understand themselves through self-awareness. Working on their signature experience projects helped students learn about who they are, their feelings, and how they've grown.

Students learned about themselves through gratitude journaling and making connections with our study of ancient civilizations. Their exhibits included a mosaic self portrait, ancient China culture sculptures, examples of architecture from the ancient civilizations studied, gratitude journaling, and animal habitat models.

On Wednesday, our Second Grade Panthers hosted their culminating experience! This has been a year-long project where each class created and developed its own fictional community. Students worked collaboratively to design symbols, flags, and maps to represent their communities, while also creating a founding story and solving a fictional problem together. They explored important concepts like community jobs, safety rules, and citizenship along the way.

Students proudly showcased their hard work through posters featuring photos, work samples, and writing pieces. We are so proud of all they have accomplished!
