Friendship Fire Company Friendship Fire Company Harpers Ferry WV,25425 Friendship Fire Company is a volunteer agency, located in Hapers Ferry, WV.

On March 18, 1927 the first meeting to discuss the need for a Fire Department in the Harpers Ferry, WV area was held. In the same year Friendship Fire Company was organized and in January 1928 FFC became an incorporated fire company with the State of WV. Friendship provides Fire and Emergency Medical Services to the Towns of Harpers Ferry and Bolivar and the unincorporated areas of Millville, Hall

town, Bakerton, and Engle Switch. In addition to its primary response area, Friendship also provides mutual aid assistance for emergenices to other Fire and EMS agencies in Jefferson County, WV, Loudoun County, VA, and Washington and Frederick County, Md. Friendship's volunteer EMS staff is supplemented by career staff from the Jefferson County Emergency Service Agency. Friendship responds to approximately 650 Fire and EMS incidents each year. Friendship Fire Company is always accepting applications for new members. We welcome citizens of the community to join in several capacities. Membership categories include Fire/EMS, Administrative, Auxiliary, Junior, and Associate. We are happy to announce our efforts to improve infrastructure. Please be aware of the work schedule and be alert.
Attention Residents:

Street repair work will take place on August 3rd & 4th at the Jefferson Street location. Alternative routes of travel will be necessary during this time. This will cause temporary closures, detours and delays while traveling through the work zone. There will also be temporary parking restrictions during the construction.

Additional repairs will continue on August 5th and repairs will focus on Madison St, Panama St & Cheney Ave. Residents can expect temporary delays of travel during the construction.

Street repairs will conclude on August 6th and the focus will be on Rowles Street.

We encourage residents to plan for delays and allow extra time to reach your destinations. The Town of Bolivar would like to thank you in advance for your patience as we strive to improve the infrastructure of our town.

Flaggers will be located in the work zones so please proceed with caution as you enter the construction areas.

Happy 250th America! This morning we gathered with our Governor, Patrick Morrissey, in Harpers Ferry. We had the pleasure to meet with some WV Guardsmen as well, along with HF Police Dept.JCESA, HFNP Law Enforcement, and other VIP guests. Great day to be an American!

FFC and all members would like to congratulate Zach Stillwell for completing the WV Junior Fire Fighter Program. Zach was chosen amongst his peers to be a "Battalion Chief" exemplifying leadership and team leadership. Zach also was awarded a fully paid scholarship to attend next year because of his exemplary performance this year.
Keep doing great things young man! Congratulations Zach.
