The Haverford Township Free Library has recently added a CD player, Karaoke machine, folding bench and graphing calculator to our Library of Things. They are all librarian-tested and ready to be booked. Stop by the Reference Desk or give us a call today!

Join us today for Creative Connections - a monthly arts exploration program for children ages 8–12. Each session highlights either a featured artist, artistic movement, or cultural tradition. After a short intro, participants get to create their own artwork inspired by the theme or an artist while listening to stories, poetry, fairy tales and/or music connected to the theme.

May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. Learn about notable Asian American and Pacific Islander artists and create original artwork while listening to stories and music by influential Asian American musicians and artists.

The Library community is invited to attend the Association Meeting this evening at 7:00 pm in the Community Room. The Library Association was created with the plans for the Haverford Township Free Library in 1933. The Association meets annually to vote in elections, hear from staff on the health and welfare of the Library and exchange ideas with one another.

In order to become a member of the Association you must: 1) have a library card 2) live in Haverford Township 3) be 18 years of age or older.

Immediately following the Annual Association Meeting, the Board of Trustees will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting at which time officers of the Board will be elected and its other normal monthly business will be conducted.

Thank you to everyone who attended our Trivia Night @ the Library fundraiser event last night! The sold-out crowd had a great time with Quizzo by Sean P. Maguire leading us through library-adjacent categories spanning from book adaptations to kids book characters to Haverford Township trivia! Congratulations to team A Tale of Two Wawas for pulling out the win! We are so grateful for your continued support of the Library -- all proceeds from this event will go to ongoing programs and collections at the Library.

Thanks again to the Haverford Middle School Gold team for running our child care option during this event. Also thank you to Backstage Tap + Grille for their donation of the amazing food. And thanks to all of the event sponsors that donated to our raffles:

Thank you to everyone who SOLD OUT our upcoming Trivia Night @ the Library event! It's going to be a fun night and we are so grateful for your support of the Library!

Tickets will not be available at the door and just a reminder that this is a BYOB event for adults ages 21+. A few spots are still available for the child care option for children ages 4-11. Families must sign-up in advance as spots are limited. Child care is being provided by the 8th grade Haverford Middle School Gold Team and a $20 donation is suggested for families.
