Summer is almost here and our makerspace is gearing up for this season's crafts!
Friendship Bracelets, Weaving, Pinback Buttons, and so much more! come in for one-on-one lessons, demos, or come to our focused events where we dig deeper into these crafts and learn alot!
Makerspace summer hours are 9am-4pm monday through friday when makerspace staff are available.

Mindful Journaling

There’s something magical about watching raw materials transform into something entirely new, and that’s exactly what we’ve been up to in our workshop series! We started with papermaking, where scraps of paper became fresh, handmade sheets, ready for our next set of workshops.

Then came bookbinding, where we built our journals from the ground up using a combination of cut sheets and our handmade paper, we stitched the book blocks, followed by attaching the covers, and by the end of Bookbinding II everyone went home with a brand new, hand bound journal!

Now, we’re gearing up for the mindful journaling workshop, where we’ll take those blank pages (prompt booklets!) and fill them in. We’ll play with prompts, doodle without rules, and maybe even discover a new way to slow down and listen to ourselves.

These workshops have been about more than just crafting, they’ve been about connecting to materials, to creativity, and to each other. No experience needed.
