East Perry Elementary Miners

East Perry Elementary Miners Welcome to East Perry Elementary- Home of the MINERS! The involvement of all stakeholders is extremely important for the achievement of our students.

We have a wonderful school with a dedicated and committed faculty whose main goal is to provide the best education possible to the students at East Perry Elementary and the surrounding community. East Perry was established in 2013 creating the beginning of an exceptional educational environment where students are the top priority and success is viewed as a necessity for the preparation of student endeavors for the 21st century. There are several ways for everyone to contribute to the success of our educational environment. Encouragement and support for students by parents and staff, as well as, effort and commitment from students, contribute to the attainment of student growth. Student progress can be monitored on statewide and district assessments, report cards (grades), and daily assignments/homework. Feel free to ask questions to your child’s teacher(s) and administrators at East Perry. As our school mission statement says, “East Perry Miners Strive for Excellence” and this could not be accomplished without your support. Thank you for all you do to make our school truly exceptional.

🌳 THIS WEEK is KY Safe Schools Week! 🌳

This year’s theme is “Strong Roots. Safe Schools.”

Throughout the week, we will work together to:

🌱 Plant the Seed by making safe choices, showing kindness, and taking responsibility.

🤝 Grow Connections by building positive relationships, listening with empathy, and supporting others.

💪 Strengthen the Trunk by caring for our mental health, encouraging resilience, and asking for help when needed.

🌿 Branch Out by welcoming everyone with respect, celebrating our differences, and helping each person feel that they belong.

🛡️ Harvest Safety by recognizing positive actions and continuing to build a culture of safety throughout the year.

Together, our students, staff, families, and community members can create strong roots that help every Miner feel safe, supported, and ready to grow! ❤️🖤⛏️

☕️ A LATTE THANKS to Jess B. Photography for being our September Sunshine Cart sponsor! 🤎

This month’s theme was “Thanks a Latte,” and Jessica generously provided more than enough for our entire staff to create their own customized iced coffees! From delicious flavors to all the fun toppings, it was the perfect treat for our hardworking EP family.

Admin also added a little something extra—Pantry Shelf donuts—to celebrate High Attendance Day alongside our iced coffee bar! 🍩🎉

Thank you so much, Jessica, for your incredible generosity and for helping us show our staff how much they are appreciated! ❤️🖤
