It's already been a week since this year's Summer Education Program ended and we already miss everyone so much! 🫶

We were able to end the summer with a day full of outdoor activities, snacks, and ice cream 🤩 Thank you to all of our lovely volunteers and staff who dedicate their time to our New Ground students! See you all soon!

We can't believe it's already the last week of the Summer Education Program! 😱

Last week, we were able to take our students to experience new things from tie-dying shirts to visiting a local firehouse. We are so glad to see our students having days filled with great memories, while being able to learn in an interactive way 🤩

Happy International Youth Day 🤩🖍️✨

August 12, 2026 marked this year's International Youth Day - a day dedicated to youth advocation and leadership. We celebrated International Youth Day by sitting with our Associate Program Director, Evol Sweeney, to discuss the importance of our Summer Education and Reading Programs which are targeted to support the children of our program participants. These programs were created to address the impact that homelessness can have on education and development of our children.

Together, we are building a community that uplifts and empowers, not only our adults, but our youth, as well! ✨
