📢 **Jackson Beach Boat Ramp Closure**

The Jackson Beach boat ramp will be closed for most of the day on **Friday, September 4** for pump testing.

There will be a heavy firetruck and emergency response presence in the area during testing.

📢 PSA : Increase Traffic & Activity Thursday, September 10

Residents may notice increased traffic and activity around Jackson Beach/Hermon Pond and Hermon Mountain Ski Area on Thursday as Maine IF&W, Maine DEP, and Tri-State Bird Rescue conduct a full-scale oiled wildlife exercise. Please avoid the area if possible.
The exercise will include a large number of participants on Hermon Pond in canoes and kayaks, along with motorized safety vessels.

🚗 Please expect additional vehicles and increased activity in these areas throughout the day and use caution when traveling through the area.

📢 **September Town Clerk Closures**

The Town Clerks have a few upcoming closures in September due to training. Please take note of the following dates and plan accordingly:

📅 * Wednesday, September 2 * – All Day
📅 * Monday, September 7 * – Labor Day Closure (All office Depts)
📅 * Tuesday, September 8 * – Town Clerks will be unavailable beginning at 1:00 PM.
📅 * Wednesday, September 9 * – All Day
📅 *Thursday, September 23* - All Day
📅 * Thursday, September 24 * – All Day

All other departments will remain open during these clerk office closures for other services.
