Highland Redevelopment Commission Highlighting activities and events of the Redevelopment Commission of the Town of Highland, Indiana.

The Highland Redevelopment Commission oversees the Town’s various special commercial districts, as well as the Architectural and Design Standards associated with those districts. The Redevelopment Commission also participates with Highland Main Street to support and promote Downtown Highland. In addition, the Redevelopment Commission works with the Town Council and the Economic Development Commiss

ion, on matters related to proposed tax abatement on new or renovated commercial projects. The Highland Redevelopment Commission is dedicated to building Highland’s tax base and economic opportunities, by taking what exists, seeing how it is working and what we can do to help it work better.
