At Wesley Community Center, we believe every child deserves access to the care they need to thrive.

That's why we're proud to partner with Texas Children's Hospital to host the Texas Children's Mental Health Mobile Clinic right here in our parking lot!

The Mental Health Mobile Clinic travels throughout Houston to provide free or low-cost counseling, mental health screenings, and treatment for uninsured and underinsured children and teens ages 7–18. Staffed by bilingual therapists, the clinic serves as a vital resource for families who may have limited access to traditional behavioral healthcare.

🎓 SEPTEMBER IS TOMORROW — AND THERE ARE ONLY 8 DAYS LEFT TO GET STARTED!

A GED can open the door to new job opportunities, higher education, and greater confidence. And at Wesley Community Center, we’re making it easier to take that first step.

Through our partnership with the Mayor’s Office for Adult Literacy, Wesley is offering FREE GED classes in Kashmere Gardens — and our next cohort starts September 8!

⏰ Enrollment is happening NOW.

McCrane-Kashmere Gardens Neighborhood Library

Class Schedule:
• Mondays | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Tuesdays | 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
• Wednesdays | 1:00–3:00 PM

Participants receive:
✔️ In-person instruction
✔️ One-on-one tutoring
✔️ Practice tests
✔️ Computer-based lessons
✔️ Computer and calculator access
✔️ Free GED testing for eligible participants

And it doesn’t stop with the classroom. Consistent participation can also connect you with additional support services through Wesley to help remove barriers and keep you moving toward your goals.
