Juniors from KIPP Houston High School made spirits brighter last week by delivering “regalitos” (little gifts) to our wonderful seniors. They hand-delivered Christmas goody bags and had quite a bit of fun in the process.

Go Astros!! We are so excited about our World Series Champions. Wesley will be open regular hours tomorrow, Monday, November 7. Since HISD schools are closed, our Youth program will be open 7:30am to 5:30pm for youth currently enrolled in Wesley's after school program.

We are thrilled to congratulate our October graduates of our Bridges to Career Opportunity classes. Eleven clients completed their 6-week class with Wesley and have earned scholarships to local community colleges for Certified Nursing Assistant, Phlebotomy and EKG. Wesley also provides books for classes and assists with transportation costs. In the words of one of our graduates, “With the help of Wesley, I am able to be less stressed about money for classes and books and focus on my training.”
