We are so excited to welcome our students back to Cornelius Elementary for an amazing 2026–2027 school year! 🐾

⏰ Doors open at 7:00 AM
🍎 Breakfast is served in the cafeteria
📚 Instruction begins at 7:30 AM
🔔 Dismissal begins at 3:00 PM

❤️ PK Families: Beginning at 7:15 AM, only TWO parents/guardians per PK student may enter the building, and they MUST have the entry passes provided at Meet the Teacher. Please have your passes ready upon arrival.

Please review the reminders on the flyer to help us have a safe and smooth arrival and dismissal. We appreciate your patience as everyone learns their new routines during the first week!

Kindergarten–5th Grade Meet the Teacher

Our teachers have been hard at work transforming their classrooms into welcoming spaces where every Cougar will feel safe, valued, and ready to learn. 🖍️📚✨

But preparing for a great school year is about more than decorating classrooms—it’s about building a strong team. Through activities like Campfire Confessions 🔥 and Human Compass 🧭, our staff has been sharing stories, making connections, and strengthening the relationships that help make Cornelius such a special place.
