The volunteers, organizers and planned the Genuine Cup the to held in Houston from July 27 – August 1. More than 1000 athletes with intellectual disabilities (IDD) and autism representing 50 teams from 50 countries join together for a week of competition, connection, and community. The Bangladesh Association of Houston sponsored Team Bangladesh.

Hosted at Rice Stadium, the tournament is more than a game. It’s a platform for visibility, opportunity, and inclusion on a global stage.

Hosted by the Genuine Foundation and supported by Rice University, local volunteers, consulates, small businesses and Houstonians, the Genuine Cup tournament is part of a broader effort expand inclusion through sport, advocacy, and opportunity.

The world joins together to mourn the loss of a great leader, His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani of the State of Qatar.
