Join us as we gather to unveil and dedicate a new historical monument honoring the lives, contributions, and enduring legacy of those laid to rest at Evergreen Negro Cemetery.
​This special event is an opportunity to reflect on our shared history, honor our ancestors, and celebrate the ongoing efforts to restore and preserve this sacred space for generations to come.

Please join us Wednesday, July 15 to learn more about this historic cemetery where so many of our ancestors were laid to rest. Experts will talk about the history and importance of this resting place in Fifth Ward, and what we all can do to help preserve it.

The town hall starts at 6 p.m. Refreshments will be served. Please share this with your friends, family and neighbors.
