Texas leaders say discrimination against Asian American and Pacific Islander communities is rising and mirrors the same exclusion laws once used to target Chinese immigrants.

At a Fort Bend town hall, Reps. Gene Wu (D 137) and Suleman Lalani (D 76) and Commissioner Dexter McCoy (D Precinct 4) warned that new property bans, visa limits and attacks on birthright citizenship echo the old playbook.

Texas has 1.2 million eligible AAPI voters, making up 5.4 percent of the electorate, and organizers say those voters are now being treated as threats instead of a decisive voting bloc.

✔️ Packed the room for our Caucus Meeting
✔️ Sang our hearts out at Karaoke 🎶 (obviously)
✔️ Passed major party platform wins

And left even more fired up for November. 🔥
