So we have all heard the old saying you need to crack a few eggs to make an omelet. Well our omelet is the town office is getting a newer phone system. The Cracks are we can not port/keep our existing telephone numbers with this newer platform. So starting next Wednesday our new number will be Town Office main line 207-471-6400 Town office secondary line 207-471-6402 Town office fax 207-471-6403. So if you call our current number next Thursday you will automatically be connected to Jimmy regarding your vehicles extended warranty. 😆

Howland Voters: the last day to request an absentee ballot is Thursday, June 4th for the upcoming June 9th Election for both State and Municipal Referendum Election.

It is official, the playground facelift has been completed. Dylan & MartineThompson used his own equipment (skidsteer loader) to help spread the wood chips out, and Mike Sereyko finished building and also erected the rain/sunshade structure. We want to thank everyone for their time and hard work on this project so the children can enjoy the playground for years to come.

Today we want to thank Lake Street Property Management LLC and their crew for their efforts in keeping our cemetery and other public areas in great shape for the holiday weekend.

We want to thank all the volunteers who participated in the playground upgrade. From the group who worked on the design to the painting peeps we want to thank everyone who played a part in this project. A big shout out to Mike Sereyko who has spent numerous hours assembling the unit. Mike said he has one more thing he wants to build for the playground, stay tuned, I heard it might be completed soon.

Oh I almost forgot, we have two loads of woodchips that need to be spread around the playground. Looking for volunteers on this last phase.
