📚✨ Please join us in welcoming our new Children's & Youth Services Librarian, Cana Brown, to the Humboldt Public Library family! ✨📚

Cana was born and raised in West Tennessee and graduated from Lee University in 2021. Before joining our staff, she spent several years working with her church's children's program and gained valuable experience in program development and community events.

When she's not at the library, Cana enjoys reading, writing, playing pickleball, spending time outdoors with her dog, and making memories with family and friends. Her favorite book series is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo.

Cana is excited to meet the children and families of our community and can't wait to help make this year's Summer Reading Program an unforgettable experience!

Calling all little dinosaurs and future paleontologists! Join us this June for a roaring good time at the Humboldt Public Library as we dig into exciting stories and enjoy activities designed just for our youngest readers.

The Humboldt Public Library is looking for smooth river rocks for an upcoming library activity! 🪨📚

If you have extra smooth river rocks around your home, creek, or garden, we would love to put them to good use for one of our fun programs at the library. Rocks that are smooth and easy to paint or decorate work best.

Donations can be dropped off at the Humboldt Public Library during regular business hours.

Our 2026 Summer Reading Program is officially underway, and we invite children, teens, and adults to stop by the library and get signed up today! This year’s program features exciting activities, storytimes, crafts, workshops, contests, and special events for all ages throughout the month of June.

We are also honored to dedicate this year’s Summer Reading Program to the memory of Virginia C. Nicholson, whose love for children and reading continues to inspire generations in our community. ❤️
