🦋 In lieu of flowers, Dolly Parton’s family has requested that donations be made to Imagination Library. 🦋

While each county’s Imagination Library program is a little different, here in Gibson County, there are several ways you can support our local program. Your donations help us make sure children throughout our county receive books every month! 📚❤️

✔️ Venmo: -Library

✔️ Rhodes Family Diner: When you eat at Rhodes Family Diner, you can make a donation when you check out, and they will match your donation! There is also a collection jar at the register. In addition, all funds raised from Meta through interactions with the Diner’s posts will be donated to Gibson County Imagination Library.

✔️ Checks: Checks can be mailed to:

Checks can also be dropped off at Rhodes Family Diner or any of the public libraries in Gibson County.

Dolly’s dream was to put books into the hands of children everywhere. Her father could not read or write, and although Dolly said he was the smartest man she had ever known, she understood that not being able to read made his life harder.

By supporting Imagination Library, you are helping carry on that dream and giving children the gift of books, imagination, and a love of reading. 📚🦋

LEGO Movie and LEGO Club Free Play event is TOMORROW at 10am! For those interested in entering the LEGO competition, this is a great opportunity to work on your LEGO creations (see our previous post for rules and regulations) or just let your imagination take hold! We can't wait to see you at the library!!
