What a wonderful time at the Humboldt Public Library! 🦕📚

This week’s Dino Storytime was extra special as our friends from Nite Lite Theatre joined us to perform scenes and songs from Oklahoma! Youth Edition following Storytime.

A big thank you to Becky Reeves, the cast and crew of Nite Lite Theatre, and all the families who joined us for a fun-filled morning of reading, imagination, and live theater. We love bringing unique experiences like this to our community!

🇺🇸 America 250 is Coming! 🇺🇸

As our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of American Independence in 2026, we’re excited to join in recognizing this historic milestone. For two and a half centuries, our country has been shaped by the people, events, and ideals that continue to inspire generations.

To help celebrate this special occasion, our library windows have been transformed with a patriotic display featuring a bold “250”, fireworks, and a majestic American eagle welcoming visitors to the Humboldt Public Library.

A special thank you to Art by Shanna for sharing her talent and creativity with our community through this beautiful window painting. We appreciate the time and effort she put into helping us commemorate this once-in-a-generation celebration.

What a fantastic afternoon at the Humboldt Public Library! 🦕🍪

Today’s Dino Cookie Artist program was a tremendous success as children and their families gathered to decorate dinosaur-themed cookies and enjoy a fun-filled hour of creativity. From colorful icing designs to imaginative decorations, our young artists truly brought their dinosaur cookies to life!

We were thrilled to see such a wonderful turnout and so many smiling faces. Programs like this help encourage creativity, learning, and community engagement while making lasting memories for our young patrons.

Be sure to keep an eye on our upcoming Summer Reading Program events as we continue to "Unearth a Story" together throughout the summer.
