Help Us Fill the Basket for National Food Bank Day!

In honor of National Food Bank Day on September 4, we're hosting a food drive and inviting both our team members and community friends to participate!

We're grateful for our employees who are already contributing, and we'd love to invite our community to join us! If you'd like to help, feel free to drop off nonperishable food donations at our office anytime between now and when we make our donation on September 4th.

All donations will benefit the Community Food Basket - Idaho Falls. They have been serving our community since 1980! They help more than 1,000 families every month throughout the greater Idaho Falls area.

✅ Canned fruits and vegetables
✅ Soup and chili
✅ Pasta and rice
✅ Peanut butter
✅ Shelf-stable pantry items

Donations accepted now through Thursday, September 3rd, at close of business. No donation is too small!

Community Food Basket - Idaho Falls received a beautiful donation today from the DeOn Larsen Campbell family.

In lieu of floral arrangements for her funeral the family brought their favorite Campbell's products in memory of her.

They were delivered by her son Leeon Campbell (left) and son-in-law Ray Blevins (right).

We are so grateful for the gift and send our sympathy and heartfelt thanks to the family.

The countdown begins!!

The 14th annual Salon h.davis Cut-a-thon is coming up soon. September 12th from 8-4. Save the date to get a great haircut and support the Community Food Basket - Idaho Falls. We will also have an inflatable slide, food trucks, drawings for great prizes donated by other local businesses. It’s a great time for the whole family and a great way to help your community.

Community Food Basket - Idaho Falls We're rolling with a fresh new set of tires! Thanks to Les Schwab Tire Centers, the store on Constitution Way (shout out to Darryl and Tyler) and their tires for purpose program, our food rescue truck (AKA the Banana) is all set to keep moving safely and efficiently. This donation will help us rescue thousands of pounds of food to give to families, ensuring we can continue serving our community.

Out of the box thinking here.....

Community Food Basket - Idaho Falls has many pallets of frozen chickens that are hard to distribute to families. They are packaged 8-10 whole, rotiserie-size chickens per bag/case.

That means all 10 must be thawed and cooked at the same time.

We have been sharing them with every feeding site we can think of, but we still have lots.

With so many fires burning and so many crews needed in the Northwest right now, how can we share these birds further and help feed those folks from here to Washington?

Ideas?

We have the chickens, we are just not sure how best to make use of them to support these folks!

We desperately want to help in some way.
