The Ingram Fire Department is honored and deeply grateful to announce the receipt of a generous $100,000 grant from the Perry and Ruby Stevens Charitable Foundation, presented by Mark Milton, Executive Director.

This incredible investment in our department will be used to purchase new Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) equipment—essential lifesaving gear that protects our firefighters as they answer the call to serve our community.

There are moments when a donation is about more than just dollars and equipment. This is one of those moments.

Every time our firefighters enter a burning structure, search for a trapped victim, or work in hazardous environments, they place themselves in harm’s way to protect the lives and property of others. The SCBA equipment funded through this grant will provide them with the protection and confidence they need to perform those duties safely and effectively.

We are humbled by the faith and trust that the Perry and Ruby Stevens Charitable Foundation has placed in our department. Their generosity is not only supporting the firefighters who wear this equipment—it is helping protect every family, business, and visitor within our community for years to come.

On behalf of the members of the Ingram Fire Department, the citizens we proudly serve, we extend our sincerest appreciation to the Perry and Ruby Stevens Charitable Foundation and to Mark Milton for making this opportunity possible.

Your commitment to public safety will have a lasting impact, and we are truly thankful for your partnership in helping us continue our mission of protecting lives, property, and our community.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for investing in the safety of our firefighters and the future of the Ingram Fire Department.

Today, we remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a day to honor the heroes who never made it home, the families who carry their memory, and the legacy of courage they left behind.

At Ingram Fire Department, we stand humbled and grateful for those who gave everything so we could live freely. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.

As you spend today with family and friends, we ask that you take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember our fallen heroes. ❤️🤍💙

Freedom is never free.

From all of us at Ingram Fire Department:
Thank you to the fallen.
We remember you today and always.

Yesterday, the members of Ingram Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire in our community. Thanks to the quick actions of the homeowners and nearby neighbors, the fire was able to be slowed before crews arrived on scene, helping prevent further spread and giving responders a strong start in protecting the remainder of the home.

Most importantly — no lives were lost and no injuries were reported. For that, we are incredibly thankful.

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Hunt Volunteer Fire Department for responding to assist with fire operations and helping protect the remainder of the structure. Thank you as well to the Kerr County Sheriff's Officeand Ingram Police Department for responding quickly to help secure the scene and assist crews during the incident.

Incidents like these are a reminder of how important community, teamwork, and fast action truly are. We are grateful for the support between agencies and proud to serve alongside such dedicated responders and citizens. 🚒
