‼️📣 The Jackson County Health Department plans to conduct mosquito fogging in the City of Jackson this Saturday night, May 30th, around sunset. The fogging will be focused around Eddie Jones Park, the High Street Ball Fields, and Manpower Park. The pesticide fog produced by the JCHD’s sprayer is not harmful to humans or household pets, it just kills insects.

If you’ve visited JCHD, chances are Charla was one of the first friendly faces to welcome you through our doors. For the past 10 years, she has been an integral part of our team, helping keep daily operations running smoothly while providing excellent service to our community.

An Oak Hill native, Charla values time spent with family and enjoys fun outings and trips with friends whenever she gets the chance.

We will reopen today on a delayed schedule at 9:00 AM.

⚠️ Due to a current power outage, the Jackson County Health Department office will be temporarily closed tomorrow until power is restored.

At this time, all in-office services are paused. We will provide updates as soon as we are able to reopen safely.

The harm reduction clinic at Jackson-Vinton Community Action in Wellston will operate tomorrow as scheduled.
