Here's something most Wyoming voters don't know, even people who follow politics closely.
The Wyoming Legislature has a 40-day general session every two years. That's it. There's also a shorter budget session in alternating years. But the full legislative calendar is remarkably compressed compared to most states.
What that means in practice: bills move fast, relationships matter enormously, and legislators who know the process can do a lot, while legislators not of the majority party can burn through the sessions without contributing other than peripherally.
For House District 23, this matters because you want someone to hit the ground running to address Teton County issues - housing, conservation, water rights, school funding, taxation—all shared with the rest of the state—by someone who will be included, central to the discussions., and impactful.
