🍽️✨ What an amazing and FUN cooking class we had at RCSA Intracoastal! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳❤️
Our RCSA Intracoastal family came together for a wonderful time of cooking, sharing, and enjoying delicious Turkish recipes! 🥰
We made KISIR and Cheese Rolls —and, of course, we had lots of fun and laughter along the way! 😄👩‍🍳

Calling all RCSA artists, writers and inspiring educators!
The Florida Department of Education and Volunteer Florida are celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with statewide student contests centered around this year’s theme: “Celebrating Florida’s Hispanic Heritage.”
We encourage our RCSA students to get creative, share their voices and celebrate the history, culture and contributions of Hispanic Floridians! ❤️
🎨 Art Contest | Grades K–3
Four statewide winners will each receive a $200 gift card for school supplies.
✍️ Essay Contest | Grades 4–12
Six statewide winners will each receive a 2-year Florida College Plan scholarship from the Florida Prepaid College Foundation PLUS a $200 gift card for school supplies.
🍎 Excellence in Education Award
Students, parents, teachers and principals can also nominate an outstanding full-time Florida educator. Four educators will each receive $2,500!
📅 Deadline: Monday, September 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET

🔬🚀 Science in Action in 4th Grade! 🚀🔬

Mrs. Peiffer’s 4th grade Rockets are putting their science skills to work! 🧪📏 Students learned how to use a variety of science tools while practicing measurements using both metric and customary units of measure.

We love seeing our Rockets learning through hands-on exploration, asking questions, and building skills like real scientists! 🥼🔍✨

🔎✨ GIFTED SPOTLIGHT | 4TH GRADE ✨🔎

It’s investigation time in Mrs. Simpson’s Gifted Class! 🕵️‍♀️☎️

It was the first day back in Gifted for the 2026–27 school year, and our 4th graders were already busy stretching their minds, asking questions, and investigating! 🧠💡

Students got hands-on with some unplugged phones ☎️ and quickly discovered just how different they are from the cell phones we use today! One item even sparked a mystery—after looking at its original paperwork, students began wondering if it might actually be a navigation device instead of a phone! 👀🗺️

And the best part? Mrs. Simpson found these awesome pieces on Facebook Marketplace over the summer—turning a summer find into a classroom investigation! ❤️
