Please help us grant Ann's simple wish for a power lift recliner! This specialized chair would help her maintain her mobility with far less struggle, pain, and risk of falling. Greater independence would allow Ann to continue living safely in her apartment while attending her medical appointments and physical therapy sessions, ensuring she receives the ongoing care she needs.
Due to a rotator cuff tear and a serious meniscus tear in her knee, Ann faces significant challenges with mobility and spends much of her time seated. A power lift recliner would make it easier for her to stand and move independently, helping to prevent further injury, reduce strain on her existing conditions, and potentially avoid the need for additional surgery. Her physician has prescribed a power lift recliner, recognizing its medical necessity; however, the chair is not covered by her insurance.
Because of her small stature, Ann requires a petite-sized lift recliner that properly fits her frame and allows her feet to rest comfortably on the floor. The cost of the chair is $1,301 and we still need to raise $400 to grant this much-needed wish!
