Today we are launching our fundraising campaign for our new Emergency Services building! This is an important step for our continued commitment of keeping our community safe.

All members of our district will be receiving information in the mail over the coming weeks.

Janesville Fire Rescue will be out in Janesville distributing gifts to children 6th grade and under and young adults with special needs within our fire district on Monday December 22nd starting at 6 PM. Our trucks will be making it through the neighborhoods spreading cheer throughout the night.

For the children that live in the country but still within our fire district, could you please private message your name, number of children, and address to us on Facebook messenger and we will make sure we make it out to you!

For the children who live in town don’t forget to leave your porch light on if you’d like a visit from on of our Janesville Firefighter Santa’s!!

As we have received a good amount of snow over the past few weeks Janesville Fire-Rescue would like to remind the community to clear the snow around fire hydrants near your property. This allows quicker access to the hydrants when minutes count the most.

If you are planning to burn brush from Fall cleanup, please take a few extra minutes and make that courteous phone call to our dispatchers! It prevents paging out fire departments when they are not needed.

A couple questions you may be asked:
What is the address of the controlled burn?
What are you burning?
What is the duration of time you plan to burn?

Charity tractor pull Saturday July 5th with all proceeds going to the new Janesville Emergency Services Building.

Janesville Fire will be filling pools on June 2nd and 3rd between 5:00 PM and 8:30PM. This years rates are as follows…. If you are near enough to a hydrant in town we will use a hose off of the hydrant to fill pools at a rate of $35.00 per thousand gallons. If your location requires a tanker to transport water to you the first tanker of 2000 gallons will be charged at $100.00 and every load after that will be an additional $75.00 regardless of gallons delivered. Payment by check or cash is required at time of delivery. We will fill based on the order we receive requests. Private message us on the Janesville Fire Rescue Facebook messenger your address and rough pool size to get on our list of pool fills.

The picture will provide an estimate for how many gallons your pool will hold based on the size.
