Flashback Friday with๐Ÿš“๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™‚๏ธ Junior Police Academy๐Ÿ‘ฎโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿš“

Looking back at the training, teamwork, and dedication that have helped shape our youth. Every achievement is built on a foundation of professionalism, preparation, and service. We had the pleasure of welcoming the Bloomfield Police Department's Junior Police Academy to the Hudson County Department of Corrections!

Sgt. Wilks, Sgt. Silva and Operator Anderson kicked things off with some energizing exercise routines, handcuffing techniques, and a look at some of the tactical skills used by our elite SOG team. The cadets impressed us by confidently introducing themselves and sharing their names, ages, and career aspirations โ€” such bright futures ahead!

After the hands-on activities, Officer Gaillard sent the group off with some goodies to enjoy on their ride back to Bloomfield.

Thank you to Bloomfield PD for another amazing collaboration! We truly enjoy these moments of mentorship and engagement and canโ€™t wait to team up again. Best of luck and have a fantastic summer, cadets! ๐ŸŒŸ๐Ÿ’ช

This Memorial Day, we honor the men and women who gave everything in service to this country. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
Many of those who once served in our military now wear a corrections or law enforcement uniform โ€” continuing a life of service in a different uniform.
To them, and to those we've lost: thank you. We remember. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
