What an incredible day on the course for our Kenmare-Bowbells Honkers Girls Golf Team! The Honkers brought home the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP and swept the TOP THREE individual spots! 👏💛

🏃‍♀️👟🏃‍♂️ Calling All Young Honker Runners! 🏃‍♂️👟🏃‍♀️

The 5th Annual Kenmare Country Club Invitational is coming up, and our younger Honkers are invited to join in the fun! 💛

📅 Tuesday, September 22, 2026
📍 Kenmare Country Club

Students from Kenmare, Bowbells & Burke Central in grades 3–6 are invited to participate in the Elementary 1-Mile Cross Country Race!

And here's the best part: you don't have to be a cross country runner to participate! 🙌 Students can RUN, WALK, or do a combination of both as they tackle the one-mile course. It's all about getting outside, being active, and having FUN! 👟🌾

🏁 ELEMENTARY RACE SCHEDULE
💛 1:30 PM – 3rd/4th Grade Boys & Girls
💛 1:45 PM – 5th/6th Grade Boys
💛 2:00 PM – 5th/6th Grade Girls

🚌 Kenmare Students: All students in grades 3–6 will be bused to the Kenmare Country Club at 1:10 PM and will return to school around 2:45 PM.

📣 Parents, grandparents, family & friends are encouraged to come cheer them on! Let's line the course and give these young runners plenty of Honker support!

And don't forget about our older runners! The Varsity, JV/JH & 6th Grade portion of the meet will take place from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM.

It's going to be a FULL day of running at the Kenmare Country Club! 🏃‍♀️💨🏃‍♂️

💛 HONKER NATION... ANOTHER EXCITING WEEK IS HERE! 💛

It's another busy week for our Kenmare-Bowbells Honkers, and our student-athletes are ready to compete! From the golf course to the volleyball court, the cross country trails, and under the Friday night lights, there's no shortage of Honker action this week.

🏈 Friday Night Football is HOME!
Come out and cheer on the Honkers as they take on Lewis & Clark Berthold!

🕔 7-9 Football kicks off at 5:00 PM
🏈 Varsity Football begins at 7:00 PM

🏐 Volleyball is officially in regular season action! The Honkers hit the road Tuesday to take on Bishop Ryan before returning home Thursday to host ORCS. Then it's back on the court Friday as the junior high team hosts Lewis & Clark Berthold. Let's pack the gym and cheer them on all season long!

⛳ Our Girls Golf team has another busy week with meets on Monday, Tuesday, and the Northwest Conference Meet on Thursday.

👟 The Honker Cross Country team travels to the Beulah/Hazen Invite on Friday as they continue their strong season.
