Halloween Fun with Our Angels!

What a fun-filled Halloween week at Visiting Angels Tri-Cities & Walla Walla! From Trunk or Treat events in our community to costumes and laughter in the office, and Pumpkin Payday with our amazing caregivers, we've enjoyed every minute!

We love any excuse to celebrate our team, connect with our community, and share a few smiles along the way!

Listen to their concerns and try to calm any fears. Focus on specific tasks,
try asking, “What would make your week easier?” Their answer may open the door to a conversation about meals, transportation, or help around the house.

On Saturday, November 7th, from 9 AM to 2 PM, Prime Dental Pasco is opening our doors for a free dental day for veterans. It’s our way of honoring the local heroes who have given so much to our community and our country.

We have had the Visiting Angels coming to our home for about one year now. They are truly ”Angels” providing loving, compassionate care for my husband, meal preparation, taking care of laundry, housecleaning, helping with transportation to appointments, etc.
Caregivers do physical therapy exercises with my husband daily. Their care at night allows me to get a good nights sleep knowing that he is well cared for. Our Care Coordinator is very responsive to adapting the care plan to meet our changing needs. Her communication and focus on helping clients is excellent. Everyone has been kind, patient, understanding and respectful of our privacy. We are so thankful for their help and support. We highly recommend the Visiting Angels for your loved ones.

At Visiting Angels, care means more than showing up for a shift. It means making sure our clients feel supported and never forgotten.

Yesterday, Mr. Johnston had to rearrange his schedule. Since his caregiver usually prepares his supper, our office manager, Samantha, took time out of her evening to personally deliver his dinner!

Care doesn’t stop when the schedule changes. We’re grateful to serve our veterans and to have team members who go above and beyond.
